Old Glory
October 4 – November 17, 2024
Old Glory invites viewers to explore the diverse interpretations of the American flag in name or likeness through the eyes of contemporary artists. As a powerful symbol, the flag is imbued with layers of meaning—representing ideals of unity, struggle, identity, and dissent. Each artist in the exhibition offers a unique perspective, dissecting the symbolism of the flag and revealing the complexity behind its many narratives.
Featured works by Ignacio "Nacho" Becerra, William Binnie, Sam Durant, Skylar Fein, and Andrew Schoultz provoke thought and conversation, challenging us to reflect on how a single symbol can embody both reverence and controversy, unity and division, tradition and change.
